Perqeli was founded in 2021 by Dong-hyun Choi and Ji-won Lee — two former competitive gamers who believed Korea's legendary games culture deserved a flagship venue that matched its global reputation.
The name "Perqeli" comes from the ancient Korean concept of "peak performance" — a state of flow where skill and preparation merge into something extraordinary. That philosophy guides everything we do, from how we select our hardware to how we train our staff.
Today, Perqeli is home to over 50,000 registered members, hosts 340+ tournaments annually, and has been recognized as the Best Games Center in Seoul by the KeSPA Community Awards for two consecutive years (2024 & 2025).
